Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia - for local cycling events and bike advocacy. Their annual Bike Philly, a car-free ride through downtown Philadelphia with rolling police escort, is not to be missed.
Neighborhood Bike Works - Youth cycling advocacy group. Also home to the Divine Bike Church offering adults a space to work on bikes. They sell used bikes & parts and are entirely volunteer-staffed.
Mt Airy Bike Collective - modeled after Neighborhood Bike Works' Divine Bike Church, run entirely by volunteers in a donated garage space. Currently meet on 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings from 6 till 8.

Electric Cyclist - a discussion group for folks riding electric bikes
Ride of Silence - an annual police escorted slow-paced ride in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. The Philadelphia ride is organized by Electrical Wizardry & the Bicycle Coalition.
